On Sunday, my cousin Jessica married her love, Conor, on the Newport Princess in Newport Beach, California. This classic style boat is part of the fleet of private yachts owned by
Electra Cruises, and we at Lasting Memories Events had the privilege of decorating the boat and creating all the floral details! This unique wedding venue lead Jessica to choose a nautical theme and the colors navy blue, coral, and white. Her mom, my Aunt Mo, used her creativity in so many DIY projects for her daughter's wedding. You can see the creative gene just runs through our blood! It was so much fun to see their vision come to life and such a pleasure knowing I could take some of the stress away for the day.

Our Executive Florist, Sandi, my mom, Mo's sister, and Jessica's aunt, made all the centerpieces, arrangements, corsages, and boutonnieres, while I took on the bouquets. Flowers were purchased from
Mayesh Wholesale Florist, Inc. and Sandi created each floral masterpiece with care in her home studio. On Sunday, we delivered all the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres to the bridal party at their hotel, the
Marriott at Newport Beach (my cousin, Ryan, Jessica's brother, works for the Marriott chain; we keep it all in the family! Lol). We then proceeded to the Newport Princess to get the boat ready for the big event!

This was a very small, intimate wedding, with approximately only 70 guests in attendance. Jessica and Conor wanted to celebrate their special day with their most immediate family and closest friends, creating a special, loving environment. The couple did a first look before walking down the aisle, and
Nico Photo Studio was there to capture this, along with all the other special moments from their big day!
Pastor Bill Schellenberger married the couple as the Newport Princess cruised the Newport Harbor. After the ceremony, musical entertainment was provided by
Austin Murray Entertainment. All catering and bar services were provided by the staff of
Electra Cruises.

We were so happy to help make their special day a little more stress free. Helping our family and loved ones on their big day is something we truly cherish, and we hope Jessica and Conor had as much fun as we did, if not more! Grandma was full of smiles in heaven Jess, just admiring the beauty of your day and the hard work your mom put into so many details. We love you all and welcome to the family Conor! There's no escaping now! Ha ha!
